This really is a once in a lifetime event, unless I decide to start chasing solar eclipses. I went to Dunnville, ON where the expected time of totality was almost 3 1/2 minutes. I got there early, made a few new friends. Long drive home in heavy traffic. Nikkor Z8 with Nikkor Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 with the Nikkor 1.4x teleconverter on Gitzo tripod with Platypod head. Set-up to heavy for head as it wouldn’t lock in place at the angle the camera was pointed.
