One of the cool features that Nikon cameras have had for awhile is the ability to take multiple exposures. It seems like a “why bother feature”, since you can combine any images in post, but the cool thing about it is, especially in mirrorless cameras is the ability to see the multiple exposure build-up so to speak in the electronic viewfinder. I tried this a few times and here are a couple of examples.

For the grasses, there was wind and I moved the camera a little to the side as the exposures were built up. For the waves I initially tried that, but found it at the time too blurry. In the second attempt with the waves, I kept the camera as still as possible to keep the rocks in one place, while the various waves came in to the shore. I actually like the more blurry one as much as my second attempt.

Nice feature Nikon!
