After a long day and hoping to start the holiday weekend early, I ended up returning to the city on the train and going to a German wine tasting at the Goethe Institut in Toronto. There were six wines on hand including five whites and one pinot noir. As appropriate for the wines and place, I made the photos with German cameras, both digital and film. The images in tonight’s post were made on digital. This weekend, I’ll process the film and post those images later.

A common suggested pairing with German wines (both red and white) is Asian food.

The wine queen from a couple years ago was Janina Hahn. Nat is posing next to the banner.

One of the Contact exhibits was at the Goethe Institut. It was rather modest and comprised of two photos.
