Okay, another picture of nothing, or maybe not? Busy work day today and then too tired when I got home. Photographed some frozen yogurt. I wanted to capture texture so I used a bright point source of light located far away. A light like that, creates harsher shadows than a broad source. For example, a bright sunny cloudless day creates deep dark shadows because the sun, while extremely bright is also extremely far away and also very small in the sky. On the other hand an overcast day creates what is effectively a very big softbox with soft or no shadows.
