This post is a day late. Oh, I did make photographs, quite a few actually, but we had to travel yesterday and I was unable to post.

Today’s (yesterday’s) photos were made for a friend’s business website. He’s updating it and needs several pictures. The two below are not for the website, but for his Linked-In page. He wanted an environmental portrait in his office, which is decorated with many frames of photographs, artwork and news clippings (“Man walks on the moon”) that are personal and dear to him.

Lighting was simple. A single strobe shot into an umbrella and reflected back at the subject. I took several pictures and we tried some smiling to varying degrees and some not smiling. For Linked-In, I personally like the one not smiling as it’s more serious and “business.” I’m wondering if I’m wrong, however, but it depends, on the target market (consumer vs business vs industrial.)
