Today I spent some time walking around Calabogie, ON. One of the features of this town is the Madawaska River which flows from Lake Calabogie into the Ottawa River. With this year’s late snows and heavy rains, the river has swollen its bank in places and it has been flowing fast.

The late March and early April snow and recent rain have resulted in rivers and streams overflowing their banks. This is the Madawaska River which flows into the Ottawa River.
