Until today, winter 2015/16 was a bit of a bust. This Christmas was a green and unseasonably warm one; I’m not really complaining as some friends and I did our 2nd Annual Christmas Bike Ride.
The snow finally fell in earnest on New Years Day and, as in prior years, we rung in the New Year in Glen Williams and stayed the night. In the morning, using the Fujinon XF 16mm f1.4 and XF 50-200mm f4.5-5.3 on the Fujifilm X-T10, I ventured out and made some images.
In the -5C tempurtures and falling snow, the camera handled very well especially given its size and that I was wearing gloves. I wear size large gloves, but I had no trouble handling the camera and adjusting focus site size, custom settings, or ISO. The X-T10 is not weather resistant, unlike its bigger sibling the X-T1, but with the occasional wipe and just keeping my hand over the body, the camera performed flawlessly.
