Last month, one of my former Learn Photography Canada students asked if I could take her LinkedIn profile headshot and afterward if we could have some fun with some poses she wanted to try. Having a willing model to try things is always a bonus. The day was overcast so the lighting was flat, nice light to work with and great for colour photography. The headshots were done indoors, while post headshots were shot outside. It was late November hence the weather was cold. Flurries can be seen in one of the images. I think it’s pretty evident which images were used for LinkedIn.
I did the headshots with the 85mm f/1.8 Nikkor lens. The outdoor photos were taken with the 70-180mm f/2.8 Nikkor. I used the Nikon Z8 for its higher resolution and tack sharp focussing.
