This evening I walked along the Headwaters Trail in the Dundas Conservation Area by Martin Road. The leaves have only just started turning colour out here and the palette of black and white was suitable to communicate what I felt.
I shot with the Fujifilm X-Pro2 and I used a triumvirate of zoom lenses: the wide XF 10-24mm (equivalent to 16-35mm full-frame), the XF 16-55mm (24-80mm), and the telephoto XF 55-200mm (80-300mm). Having such a wide range of focal lengths available can make it difficult to choose as well as to “see” the photographic opportunities. To get around this I have a mental shot list in my head prior to going to the shoot, so I have an idea of what focal lengths I want to use.
