I had recently seen some still lifes including some that I created in the 90’s (see Day 27.) Looking around the kitchen I saw the colander and big pot. I added a few more bowls and also the spaghetti server. I like the juxtaposition of highlights and shadows, the holes and and roundness of the bowls, and the light scratches with the smoothness.
I don’t have a macro lens — I used the 16-55 with and without an extension tube. The ‘set’ was lit using a diffused beauty dish.
