Last Friday we went to the Grand Canyon. My expectations were actually relatively low. I was a bit jaded going thinking, “yeah it’s beautiful and it’s one of the most visited natural spots on the planet, but probably over-hyped.” I was expecting a tourist trap, but it wasn’t that. It was the most spectacular natural wonder I have ever seen. Even more so if you descend into the canyon. It is breathtaking in its awesomeness. Having spent the morning through to the evening there, we saw the beauty of the canyon evolving as the changing light revealed beautiful patterns of light.
