I was going through my street photos of Paris and aside from the usual themes one can expect, such as cafes, I noticed a commonality among a group of them: that of young families. I was surprised to find such a theme emerging. One may, or at least I, think of Europe’s aging population, especially in countries like Italy, Germany, and France and I wouldn’t have expected to find many young children. Perhaps it was the location of where we stayed — the commune of Vincennes where there were few tourists, but it is one of the most populous densely populated municipalities in Europe.
