Today’s entry cut it close to the wire. I was getting close to desperation coming up with something to photograph. Then I saw my 10-year anniversary gift with my former employer – a brass Tiffany clock. It’s heavy and simple, elegant I’d say. I didn’t bother with setting up a background or even a surface. I looked for whatever was easy and handy. The plain wall was the backdrop and the workout bench was the base. To make it interesting I played around with a remote flash, which one day I may even review. I pointed the flash in different directions to bounce light from different angles. Nothing formal, just tried stuff. Digital allows you to do that.
