Today was a Leica M6 film day, however, I won’t be positing any of those pictures today since I haven’t processed the roll. What I will show you came from a very impromptu photo shoot of my daughter and her friend posing with the “babies” from their “Raising Infants and Children” aka Parenting 101 high school course.
I was working in a very small space with narrow white seamless. The umbrellas were bumping up against the ceiling and the ceiling fan further reduced lighting manoeuvrability. Also in this weekend long infant care simulation, the babies actually will cry if mishandled or if they need to be changed, to eat, to burp or to be rocked. It’s up to the student-mother to care for it and meet its needs to stop the crying. The girls were very cautious when it came to handling their babies so the poses were a little static. Working with what I had, these are the resulting shots. These “new mothers” did a fantastic job.
