Being a Thursday, using my “ancient” (in digital terms), but trusty Leica M9 was on the schedule. However, after a few attempts at some photos, I found that using my fall back camera, the very compact Fujifilm X-T10, today, allowed me to create what I wanted. Just over a week ago I gave my partner/wife flowers for Valentine’s Day. A few have started to wilt and inspired by images of flowers I have seen by other photographers, I wanted to preserve the remaining life of these stems.

Flowers beginning to wither show their last colors in the light. Fujifilm X-T10, XF 18-55mm f2.8-4 with Nikon SB-25 and a lightbox.
