Today’s weather made for a more interesting day for photos and I had the opportunity to shoot on the commute in and at lunch.

It was an unusually foggy day today; fog that became thicker as the morning wore on, only dissipating toward the noon hour.

The Royal York Hotel is only a little more than across the street, but it was heavily shrouded in the dense fog, especially from 31 stories above ground.

By noon, the fog had lifted to about twenty-five stories above the street. I walked to the area of Queen St. and Church St. which is quite a contrast to the financial district about five blocks away.

In the financial district, I caught this group of students who were taking street photographs at King and Bay. Actually, they seemed to be socializing more than taking photos. They were curious about the Leica as they were all shooting with DSLRs and wide-normal zooms.
