Following my early morning run to the town centre of Playa del Carmen, Dylan and I visited the main strip after breakfast. We received lots of offers to visit Cozumel as we walked through the shopping district. It was very hot walking the cobblestone street and after less than an hour we returned to the resort and back to the beach.
In the afternoon there was more beach and pool time followed by a Mexican(?!) wine tasting.
Supper was at a Japanese restaurant where Grace presented Mom and Dad with congratulatory 50th wedding anniversary certificates from Kathleen Wynn, John Tory, Justin Trudeau and Stephen Harper.
The boys ended the evening watching a cover band who got a small crowd rockin’.
